The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is having hearings on the “Evolving Marketplace for IP”. They got their hands on the last issue of les Nouvelles (March, 2009) and hauled me in at short notice last week to talk about the latest LES Foundation survey results on trolls. (I also snuck in a few highlights from previous surveys, see attached.)

I did get some very positive feedback from the FTC staff about how informative the various published articles have been — “an oasis of data in a desert of opinion” so kudos to the Foundation and all concerned.
