Successive reforms of the foreign investment regime, from 2014 to the latest reform on 28 December 2023, have led to a continuous expansion of State control over operations carried out by or with foreign investors in France.
This control, which now applies to a broad scope of technological fields (health and biotechnologies, AI, cybersecurity, energy production and storage, telecommunications, critical raw materials, data, etc.), is likely to affect all economic players, not only in their external growth operations (M&A transactions) but also in their development and regular activities (licencing).
The aim of this conference will be to present the main features of the French FDI regulation (criteria, exemptions, procedures, consequences, penalties) in order to enable you to identify potential risks and anticipate them.
This event will be held in English.
