LES South Africa’s Annual General Meeting will take place at STIAS Conference Centre on 29 August 2019.

The AGM will be followed by an afternoon conference on “Technology and Innovation in South Africa”.  The keynote speaker will be Ms Fiona Nicolson, LES International President who will talk on changes in the global IP landscape and licensing – past, present and future.  Other speakers include Pontsho Maruping,  Head of Commercialisation, South African Radio Astronomy Observatory; Andrew Bailey, Senior Manager: Innovation at the UCT technology transfer office and Daniel Strauss who is a private equity and venture capital entrepreneur.
