LESI CLC event 22 FEBThis session will provide an overview of copyright enforcement in the digital environment. After a few introductory remarks on the importance of enforcing IP and the development-oriented approach to enforcement taken by the World Intellectual Property Organization, it will take a closer look at the international legal framework governing the enforcement of copyright against online infringement.

The second part of the lecture will take a more practical approach and present the most common forms of online piracy, using high-profile cases as real-life examples. Finally, a variety of solutions will be examined that have been developed in recent years specifically to counter online piracy.
