Global FRAND Litigation - a worldwide tour of the leading jurisdictions for resolving SEP disputes
LES International
Dispute Resolution Committee

With developments in the field of Standards Essential Patent and FRAND litigation taking place at speed around the globe, this webinar will address the current state of play in the world’s leading jurisdictions for SEP litigation.

The session will benefit from leading practitioners active in SEP litigation in the UK, US, UPC, Germany, India and China.  Topics covered will include the availability of injunctions, punitive damages and rate-setting FRAND actions in these jurisdictions, and the panel will discuss developing trends such as implementer-led rate setting actions (including against patent pools).

The panellists will also discuss how the courts in their jurisdictions address SEP litigation in the context of parallel rate-setting actions in other jurisdictions, and the strategies used by SEP owners and implementers to obtain the upper hand in SEP licensing disputes.
