Join us to learn about volunteer opportunities for LES members globally!
LESI is delighted to announce a new pro bono commercialization initiative working with WIPO. We are looking for support from LES members to provide inventors and small businesses – beneficiaries of the WIPO Inventor Assistance Program (IAP) – guidance on what steps they should take to effectively commercialise their innovations.
Participants of WIPO’s IAP program have secured patents through WIPO’s IAP program, but often lack the resources and knowledge to navigate the work that needs to come next to effectively commercialize their innovations. By connecting inventors who cannot afford professional help with experienced practitioners (including LES members), LES volunteers can help these IP owners take some initial first steps!
The IAP is currently operating in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Kenya, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore and South Africa. LES Volunteers would be paired with participants in these programs and should be experienced in commercializing innovations through manufacturing, sales, licensing, or other arrangements.
