"Patent Law Moderization Act - And Now?"

The second law for the simplification and modernization of patent law (PatMoG) came into force on August 17, 2021. LES Germany will once again shed light on the issues that were disputed beforehand and have the appropriate industry representatives defend them. In addition, you will learn from the Federal Patent Court which changes will be made to the BPatG and how these should be approached, in particular with regard to the qualified reference. Likewise, judges and lawyers will discuss the hotly debated change in the right to cease and desist (Section 139), in particular the inclusion of the “third party” and its practical implementation. To round it off, a contribution is planned on the “compensation in money” in the event of failure to fail.

The event is aimed at patent attorneys, lawyers and industry representatives who want to find out more about the implementation of the Patent Law Modernization Act.
