Intellectual Asset Licensing-Hidden Driver of Innovation, Prosperity & Nat'l Security
LES USA & Canada

This Forum is a unique opportunity to exchange views with representatives of the executive and legislative branches, academia, and the private sector on the important role played by technology licensing and IP rights in driving innovation, prosperity and national security.  The Forum will kick-off with fireside chats with representatives from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Congressional staff engaged in IP issues pending before Congress.  The Forum will also feature stories from U.S. corporate leaders about how technology licensing has been critical to the growth of their companies and encouraged investment in innovation; and invite discussion of the risks we face if we fail to sustain it as an effective means for moving innovation from lab to market.  Attendees will exchange views and explain to policymakers and legislators why IP rights are an important foundation of innovation, and how the U.S. can better serve innovators.

As IP holders know, technology licensing is a key enabler for innovators to leverage specialized skills, scale innovation, unlock new revenue, and compete globally.  This Forum will foster dialogue on our shared interest in a system championing our constitutionally authorized IP rights, and to inform and provide resources to our policymakers.

Please join LES USA-Canada for high‑level insight and practical perspective of what’s at stake for U.S. industry, and to make sure your voice is heard in person by the people who can amplify it and put it into action.
