The Chemicals, Environment, Energy, and Materials (CEEM) Committee is dedicated to supporting professionals in the chemicals, environment, energy, and materials sectors. Our committee serves as an extension of LESI’s global mission, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the best practices to commercialize intellectual assets.

Goals and Activites

The goals of the CEEM Committee include the following:

• Facilitate Knowledge Exchange: Organize events such as webinars, workshops, and roundtables to address key issues in the CEEM sectors, building on LESI’s tradition of shared learning and professional development. Our Industry Advisory Committee, composed of experienced business leaders from various sectors, provides valuable insights and support, helping to ensure that our content is relevant and impactful for all members. This collaboration enriches the committee’s work, benefiting the entire group by providing a well-rounded perspective on industry trends and challenges.
• Support Professional Development: Provide LESI members with opportunities to grow professionally through training sessions, mentorship, and networking, with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within the CEEM sectors.
• Support for Young Members: In collaboration with the Young Members Congress (YMC), the CEEM Committee actively encourages young professionals to join and participate. We will offer special events and programs designed to cater to the professional growth needs of those under 40, ensuring that the next generation of industry leaders is supported, well-prepared and connected.
• Share Industry Trends: Provide a platform for information sharing on the latest developments in the CEEM sectors globally, ensuring members are updated on the broader trends in their industries. The Advisory Committee plays a key role in identifying emerging trends and helping the committee stay ahead of industry changes.
