LES USA-Canada's event will delve into the exciting world of design patents – patents that protect the look of things.  Not only will they show you a few of the more interesting ones, but most importantly, they will show you one that was invalidated.  Design patents seem pretty straightforward, but they are not, and you'll be taken on a quick tour of what they cannot be used to protect.  You certainly don’t need to work with design patents to come away with a lot of useful information.
