On April 30, 2025, AIPLA and a number of partner organizations (including LESI) will celebrate World Intellectual Property Day on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. This year’s theme is: “IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP.” This annual international event is an opportunity to learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity.
This special three-hour program will feature remarks from Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) Chair, Senate Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Intellectual Property, Coke M. Stewart Acting Director of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and the Honorable Shira Perlmutter, Register of Copyrights at the U.S. Copyright Office.
