Nicolas Le Pays du Teilleul is a member of the Paris Bar specializing in intellectual property. A graduate of CEIPI and holder of an LL.M. from Queen Mary, University of London, he trained in IP across France and the United States within the investment fund France Brevets before honing his skills at leading firms including McKool Smith, Gide Loyrette Nouel, and Armengaud-Guerlain. He represents clients before the French civil and commercial courts as well as the French and European Union intellectual property offices.

He is listed among the world's leading business lawyers, recognized by clients for his transparency, rigor, and efficiency, and his strong command of the subject. Committed to academic reflection and the dissemination of legal knowledge, Nicolas is an associate member of the CEIPI Research Centre (UR 4375) and teaches intellectual property law in a range of settings, including the OECD, the École Normale Supérieure, IESA, and Albert School.

Involved in LES since 2013, he served as Chair of YMC France and as a Board member of LES France, organizing and contributing to conferences across France, the EU, the United States, Korea, and Canada. He is the Chair of LESI YMC for the ’26-’27 term.
