On 15 November 2020, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was signed by 15 member countries. Notably, these 15 countries account for about 30% of the world's population, which arguably makes it the biggest trade bloc in history.
This webinar, "Regional Economic Partnership: A Catalyst for Economic Development" brings together members of the Licensing Executives Society Philippines, as well as members of LES International and other LES societies around the world, to discuss and share thoughts on this very interesting and timely topic on the RCEP, with a specific focus on its impact on intellectual property.
We will be joined by Assistant Secretary Allan B. Gepty of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry. Asst. Sec. Gepty acted as the Philippines' lead negotiator for the RCEP, and we are honored to have him lead the discussion on the RCEP for this webinar.
