LES International and the LES USA and Canada Foundation jointly sponsored the 2009 Graduate Student Business Plan Competition (Poppet Int. press release, University of Chicago-Illinois School of Business press release, winner pic), which encourages participation from all LES member societies.

The 2009 Competition took place May 4 at the LES USA/Canada Spring Meeting in Montreal.  Finalist teams received complimentary registration for the meeting, as well as free travel and lodging in Montreal.  Teams also benefited from the evaluation and feedback from LES members who served as judges as well as the opportunity to network with hundreds of licensing professionals that attended the meeting.
